The Storybible AI Chapter Analyzer is a free browser-based tool for fiction writers. It analyzes one chapter or excerpt and returns both editorial feedback and structured story information beside the submitted prose.

## Who it is for

Novelists, screenwriters, and other fiction writers who want a chapter-scoped look at what Storybible can find in their prose.

## Input and access

- Accepts one fiction excerpt from 50 to 1,500 words.
- Does not require an account.
- Requires explicit consent to send the excerpt to Storybible's configured AI providers.
- Runs through the public web interface; it is not a public API or autonomous-agent endpoint.

## What the analysis returns

- A concise overall editorial assessment.
- Specific strengths, revision opportunities, and questions for the next pass.
- Chapter-local character profiles, including roles, goals, appearance, personality, actions, and developments when supported by the excerpt.
- Chapter-local location profiles and atmosphere details.
- Character dialogue attribution with interactive highlighting.
- Narrative beats and provisional plotlines.
- Relevant world events.
- Paragraph type classification.

## Scope and limitations

The analyzer sees only the submitted excerpt. It cannot know earlier or later chapters, verify book-wide continuity, reconcile identities across a manuscript, or track how story elements change over time. Its extracted plotlines are provisional because they are based on one excerpt.

The anonymous result is not automatically transferred to Storybible. To continue, a writer must create a Storybible project and add the chapter or import a manuscript.

## Data handling

Storybible does not save the submitted prose or analysis result in a project or database. Hashed anti-abuse counters and aggregate model-usage metadata are retained. See the [Storybible privacy policy](https://storybible.ai/privacy) and [moderation policy](https://storybible.ai/moderation-policy).
